About the Journal

Resistencias is an open-access scholarly journal published by the Department of Social and Humanistic Sciences at the Universidad Nacional del Chaco Austral (UNCAUS), based in Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña, Chaco, Argentina. It has been published electronically on a biannual basis since 2023 and holds ISSN 3008-7988.

The journal publishes original research, theoretical reviews, thematic dossiers, book reviews, and other scholarly contributions in the field of social sciences and the humanities, with particular attention to the social, political, economic, cultural, and environmental dynamics of Argentina and Latin America. Its federal and interdisciplinary orientation directs it toward the study of phenomena and actors that are frequently underrepresented in mainstream academic circuits: the Norte Grande, Patagonia, the NEA, the NOA, and their regional equivalents across the Southern Cone and Latin America.

All articles undergo a double-blind peer review process. The journal charges no submission or article processing fees (APC = $0). Content is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
